Swearing: Pretty much every swear word in the book used. Child abuse is referenced, specifically in Will and Sean’s cases. In another scene, Will and Skylar are fighting he pushes her against the door and punches the wall near her head. At the beginning, Will gets into a fight where he ends up beating a guy up and hits a police officer (which lands him in jail). Violence: The violence isn’t especially graphic.
The entire scene talks about him using a baseball glove for it. In another scene, you can slightly hear moans in the background and the guys yell at their friend to stop “jerking off” in his mom’s room. In one scene, Skylar makes a pretty graphic blowjob joke.
There are no actual sex scenes, the closest gotten to one was when Will and Skylar were talking and Will kisses down her body and lays on her chest (which ends in them making out). Sexual Content: Sex is a relatively prominent theme throughout. However, I can definitely see where it would be inappropriate for younger kids. Good Will Hunting happens to be my favorite movie of all time.
